Who we are
South King Housing and Homelessness Partners (SKHHP) is a joint board formed by an interlocal agreement between the jurisdictions of Auburn, Burien, Covington, Des Moines, Federal Way, Kent, Maple Valley, Normandy Park, Renton, SeaTac, Tukwila, and King County. Through SKHHP, South King County jurisdictions can take a coordinated and comprehensive approach to increasing housing stability and producing and preserving quality affordable housing in South King County. This collaborative model is based on similar approaches used in Snohomish County (AHA) and East King County (ARCH).
What we do
SKHHP's Mission: South King County jurisdictions working together and sharing resources to create a coordinated, comprehensive, and equitable approach to increasing housing stability, reducing homelessness, and producing and preserving quality affordable housing in South King County.
Our objectives include:
- Sharing technical information and resources to promote sound housing policy
- Coordinating public resources to attract greater private and public investment
- Providing an unified voice for South King County
Our Impact
Highlighting its commitment to real-world results, SKHHP delivers quarterly and annual reports to the legislative councils of its member jurisdictions. These reports effectively showcase the tangible impact SKHHP's efforts are having on housing stability in South King County.
